Legal
This privacy policy applies to the mobile game Conflict and the website gmax.games, both operated by Gmax Games LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales and based in the United Kingdom. It explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and who it is shared with.
The game does not collect your name, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you. The following data is collected through the game:
Save data (your game progress) is stored only on your device, using Android’s standard storage. It is never uploaded to our servers.
We do not sell your data for money, and we do not use it to market to you directly. Some US state laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly enough to cover passing advertising identifiers to ad networks for personalised advertising — the opt-out rights described under Legal Basis and Your Rights below apply to that activity.
The game integrates the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
We recommend reviewing each policy to understand how these services handle your data.
The gmax.games website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. It loads the Barlow typeface from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google’s servers when a page loads. No other visitor data is collected.
Conflict is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our services, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Conflict is available worldwide, and this section applies regardless of where you play. Where a specific regional law is named below, it applies only to players covered by that law; all other players are covered by the general description above it.
We process gameplay and session data on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the game (for UK and EU players, this is UK GDPR / EU GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Advertising data is processed by our advertising partners under their own legal bases and consent mechanisms. Where your region requires it, those partners present these mechanisms to you directly — for example, a consent prompt shown to UK and EEA players before personalised ads are enabled, or a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option shown to California residents.
There is no account system, and we cannot identify you from the data we hold; gameplay events are keyed only to a random installation identifier. The identifiers used for advertising (such as your Android advertising ID) are held by the third-party services listed above, not by us, so requests concerning that data are best directed to those providers. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your Android settings. For any other request, contact us at the address below and we will forward it to the relevant processor where feasible.
UK and EEA: you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion
of your personal data, to object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and
to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s
Office (ico.org.uk) or
your local supervisory authority.
California and other US states with privacy laws: you have the right to
know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out
of its "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising — exercisable through the ad
networks’ own opt-out controls or by contacting us below.
All other regions: contact us below with any request, and we will do
our best to assist, even where we are not legally required to.
Analytics events are retained by Unity Gaming Services in accordance with its own retention policy. We do not retain raw event data ourselves beyond the aggregated statistics shown in our dashboards. Advertising data is retained by the advertising partners listed above in accordance with their respective policies.
We may update this policy as the game evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the game after any changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
